Effective Date: October 9, 2026
Please read these terms and conditions carefully before using Our Service.
1. About Us
Nigeria Best Jobs (“we”, “us” or “our”) operates nigeriabestjobs.com, a website connecting job seekers with employment opportunities and employers across Nigeria.
Our business address is Suite RA01, 195–197 Wood Street, London, E17 3NU.
These terms apply to your use of our website, job listings and recruitment support services. Any separate written agreement for a particular service will also apply. Where that agreement conflicts with these terms, the specific agreement takes precedence for that service.
2. Acceptance of These Terms
By using our website or services, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please stop using the website and services.
If you act on behalf of an employer or another organisation, you confirm that you have authority to act on its behalf.
Nothing in these terms removes any rights or protections that cannot lawfully be excluded.
3. Our Services
Our services include publishing job vacancies, providing career information and supporting employers with candidate shortlisting where agreed.
Unless expressly agreed in writing, Nigeria Best Jobs is not the employer for vacancies advertised on the website. The relevant employer is responsible for recruitment decisions, offers of employment and employment terms.
We do not guarantee that using our services will result in an interview, job offer, appointment or successful candidate placement.
4. Job Listings
Job listings may be supplied by employers, recruiters or other sources. We aim to provide useful and accurate information, but vacancy details, availability and closing dates may change.
Job seekers should confirm important details with the relevant employer before applying or accepting an offer.
We may refuse, edit or remove listings that appear inaccurate, misleading, discriminatory, unlawful, expired or inconsistent with these terms.
Please report suspicious or inaccurate listings to info@nigeriabestjobs.com.
5. Job Seeker Responsibilities and Applications
You are responsible for ensuring that information you provide in an application, CV or communication is accurate and that you have permission to share it.
You must not impersonate another person, misrepresent qualifications or experience, or submit false documents.
Some vacancies direct applicants to an employer’s website, recruitment platform or email address. When you apply through those channels, the recipient’s terms and privacy policy govern its handling of your application.
Publishing a vacancy does not mean that Nigeria Best Jobs receives, manages or forwards applications for that vacancy.
6. Employer Responsibilities and Shortlisting
Employers and recruiters submitting vacancies must have authority to advertise the roles and provide accurate information about the position, requirements, location and application process.
Vacancies and recruitment practices must comply with applicable employment, equality and data protection laws.
Where we provide CV shortlisting, the scope and selection criteria will be agreed with the employer. Employers remain responsible for final selection decisions and any necessary checks of qualifications, references, identity, eligibility to work and suitability.
A shortlisted candidate is not a guarantee of suitability or availability.
7. Fees and Payment
CV shortlisting services are currently offered free to employers.
Where charges apply to other recruitment services, recruitment fees, calculation methods, payment deadlines and applicable taxes will be confirmed in writing before the assignment begins.
If we introduce charges for CV shortlisting in the future, we will communicate them before accepting a chargeable assignment. Any existing written agreement will continue to govern the services covered by that agreement.
8. Job Alerts and Email Subscriptions
Where job alerts are available, you may subscribe using the options provided on the website. You must use an email address that you own or are authorised to use.
Subscriptions may require email confirmation and may be delivered through a third-party service. Relevant information about the handling of subscriber data is provided in our Privacy Policy and the service provider’s privacy notice.
You may unsubscribe using the unsubscribe option provided in the emails.
Job alerts are provided for convenience. Delivery may be delayed or interrupted, and an alert does not guarantee that a vacancy remains open. Please check the job listing and employer’s application instructions.
9. Acceptable Use
You must not use the website or services to:
- Publish or submit fraudulent, unlawful, discriminatory or misleading material.
- Send spam, unsolicited advertising or malicious software.
- Attempt to gain unauthorised access to the website, systems or personal information.
- Interfere with the website’s operation or security.
- Collect or use candidate information without a lawful basis.
- Copy or redistribute website content in breach of intellectual property rights.
We may restrict access or remove submitted content where reasonably necessary to address misuse, protect users or comply with the law.
10. Intellectual Property
Website branding, design and original content are owned by Nigeria Best Jobs or used with permission, unless otherwise stated.
You may view website content and use it for your own job search or legitimate recruitment activities. Reproduction or commercial redistribution requires permission from the relevant rights holder, except where permitted by law.
By supplying a vacancy or other material for publication, you confirm that you have the necessary rights and grant us permission to display and format it for the agreed purpose.
Submitting a CV does not grant permission for unrestricted publication or unrelated use of personal information.
11. Data Protection
Personal information must be handled in accordance with applicable data protection requirements, including the Data Protection Act 2018 and the UK General Data Protection Regulation where applicable.
Our Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, share, retain and protect personal information, and how individuals can exercise their rights.
Clients receiving candidate information must process it lawfully, keep it secure, restrict access to authorised personnel and retain it only as necessary for a lawful purpose.
Acceptance of these terms does not constitute blanket consent to all uses of personal information.
12. Third-Party Websites and Advertising
Our website may contain links to external websites, recruitment platforms, advertisements and third-party services.
These third parties operate independently and may have their own terms, privacy policies and charges. A link or advertisement does not, by itself, constitute our endorsement.
We do not control third-party content, recruitment decisions or services. Please review the relevant provider’s information before submitting personal details or entering into an agreement.
13. Website Availability and Liability
We aim to keep the website available and useful, but access may be interrupted by maintenance, technical problems or circumstances outside our reasonable control.
To the extent permitted by applicable law, we are not responsible for losses caused by inaccurate third-party vacancy information, employer decisions, external application systems or interruptions outside our reasonable control.
Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability for fraud, fraudulent misrepresentation, death or personal injury caused by negligence, or any other liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited.
Your statutory rights remain unaffected.
14. Changes to These Terms
We may update these terms to reflect changes to our services, practices or applicable requirements. Updated terms will be published on this page with their effective date.
Where a change materially affects an ongoing service agreement, we will provide appropriate notice. Changes will not retrospectively alter agreed fees or completed services.
15. Governing Law and Disputes
These terms and any disputes arising from them are governed by the laws of [insert the agreed governing jurisdiction], subject to any mandatory legal protections that apply.
If you have a concern or dispute about our services, please first contact us so that we can try to resolve it informally.
This informal resolution process does not prevent either party from seeking urgent relief or exercising rights available under applicable law.

Drafting note—not website copy: Section 11 includes both the Data Protection Act 2018 and UK GDPR because these form the UK data protection framework described by GOV.UK. The governing jurisdiction has deliberately not been inferred from the London address.
